Zoran Majstorović - Oramai (Selfreleased, 2024)
Zoran Majstorović is a Croatian musician, primarily a guitarist, but also a multi-instrumentalist who plays a wide range of string instruments. Throughout his career, he has blended jazz with traditional influences and continues this approach on this album, which he dedicated to the loving memory of his grandparents Albino and Ivanka and to the 15th anniversary of the Istrian scale inscription on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
VS Tempet & Điger - Senu mi venu mi (Self-released, 2024)
The vocal ensemble of the folklore group Tempet comes from Makarska and brings together women (and occasionally men) who are dedicated to traditional singing. In addition to their performances, Tempet also organizes the remarkable Metno Festival, where they have performed together with the band Điger in recent years. Together they have now recorded their first album, on which traditional singing merges with rock, jazz and funk rhythms.
