In this episode of Izvorišta we listened to a new song by the band Dunjaluk, a remix made for them by Lenhart Tapes. We also announced the concert of the band Lankum, which took place a few days ago in Ljubljana, just a few days after the broadcast of this episode. That was both the beginning and the end of the show, while in between I played new releases from afrobeat and highlife legends: Ebo Taylor, Tony Allen and Femi Kuti.

Dunjaluk - Kamen gori (Lenhart Tapes remix)
Dunjaluk released their debut album at the end of 2022 and will soon be releasing an EP with new songs as well as collaborations with various musicians. The EP was introduced by a remix of the song Kamen gori, which was created by Lenhart Tapes and provides Dunjaluk's distorted sevdah with a characteristic industrial noise soundscape.
Ebo Taylor, Adrian Younge, Ali Shaheed Muhammad - Jazz Is Dead 22 (Jazz Is Dead 2025.)
Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad have reached the 22nd release in their Jazz Is Dead series, this time featuring Ghanaian legend Ebo Taylor. That means the jazz on this album has transformed into highlife and afrobeat, making it one of the best releases Ebo Taylor has put out in years —and that's despite the fact that he's had several strong releases of late.
La Boa meets Tony Allen - La Boa meets Tony Allen (Planet Woo/ Comet 2025.)
Tony Allen passed away in 2020, but new recordings he made before his death continue to be released. The legendary drummer was a workaholic who enjoyed collaborating with various musicians, including the Colombian group La Boa. The fusion of afrobeat with South American music always sounds great — especially when the groove is driven by Tony Allen.
